Week 4 - public speaking

Today i was thinking of who to write my wiki on when i looked up and saw Mr. Flandemeyer, preaching the good news to the students in chapel. He used a visual aide from the movie amazing grace. And it helped him with what he was talking about. You were able to here him clearly for the most part. and he was speaking loud enough. But he read the whoe time and hardly made eye contact to the good people of lutheran high school. over all it was a good chapel with Pastor Clausing helping with the scriptures. they are a good team for public speaking in the Alice Achepole Arena.

wiki 2 - 10/16  - 20/20 - good entry. He is an interesting speaker and his use of visual aides is something he's known for!

Week 2 - public speaking 

Today I was sitting in chapel just waiting to see who the speaker was today. And it was Mr. Stec He's a good but all over the place speaker. It's fun watching him pace around the whole gym with his exciting voice telling us about the Lord. He has a rare way to tell the scriptures because he shows us a video of him reading it off with words and cool pictures. He has great confidence while he walks all around the gym. He's able to project his voice very well to everyone in the gym for they can hear what he is saying. Its pretty distracting if your not use to him wandering around the gym but its pretty entertaining. he has a fun way of speaking to the crowd and its pretty cool. So he is the person i wrote for this week.

Week 1- public speaking

This week we had seniors lead the chapel. The students did a good job but i noticed a couple things. One thing i noticed was that the students that didnt look at there paper hardly at all made great eye contact, but forgot words more and said um alot. amd the ones that used a paper, about 90% of the time they just kept there head buried in there papers. There was one persone who brought up someone else but they didnt speak it looked like they were up there for the other one wouldn't feel all alone up there speaking infront of so many people. The students did good tho. that is what i noticed for this week.
