Who’s to say?
If nothing is nothing
And something is something,
Then who’s to say that nothing was something?
Who’s to say that something was something that everyone hated?
So instead of something being something it became nothing.
Who’s to say that nothing was something.
If something is something
And nothing is nothing,
Who’s to say that something didn’t come from nothing?
If someone hated nothing and made it into something,
Who’s to say that something didn’t come from nothing?
For if a beggar claims he has nothing,
Who’s to say that he doesn’t have something?
And if a rich man says he has something,
Who’s to say that he has nothing?

Wow, this first post makes my mind go in ALL sorts of directions.. one thing it does sort of lack however, is imagery..and it's questions get a bit overwhelming by the end. But I like it... I guess it makes me ask more questions than it answers. (which is not always bad in a poem) Just be sure you're not playing with the mind of your reader too much as you are obviously playing with words.
